Peter Jurasik began his professional acting career in 1972 working off Broadway in New York and touring in shows to cities up and down the East Coast. He spent a year in repertory theater in Portland, Maine as both an actor and director.
In 1975, he moved to Los Angeles where he began a twenty five year run as a working character actor. In LA, his work includes writing & performing comedy in nightclubs such as the Improv and the Comedy Store - working in a wide range of feature films and television movies - acting on stage in legitimate theaters such as the Mark Taper Forum and the Dallas Theater Center -
but especially on TV series with hundreds of appearances, playing a variety of characters in both comedies and dramas. He has been a regular cast member in three television series and a recurring character on another seven series. However, audiences seem to remember him best for his regular performances on ‘Hill Street Blues’ as Sid, their resident snitch and later as an alien ambassador, Londo Mollari on sci-fi’s ‘Babylon 5'.
Today he lives with his family in Wilmington, NC continuing his acting career but additionally teaching as a guest artist at University of North Carolina. His most recent work includes appearances in the soon to be released feature films, ' Arthur Newman ' with Colin Firth, ' 42 ' with Harrison Ford and an HBO Film with Hilary Swank, ' Mary and Martha '
