About your One Card
The magnetic stripe on back of the card allows you:
- To check out materials at Randall Library
- To access meal plans or food dollars at campus dining locations
- Admission to UNCW sporting, arts and entertainment events
- To ride the Seahawk Shuttle and WAVE Transit buses free
The smart chip embedded in the card allows you:
- To open residence hall doors
- To access computer labs, academic buildings and the Student Recreation Center (See Student Recreation Center Construction UPDATE)

- All purchases including the Textbook Reserve Program (TRP) - This is a convenient, easy way to ensure that a student will have all of his/her textbooks. The program allows a student's textbooks to be reserved according to his/her class schedule simply by depositing a minimal amount into the Seahawk Buck$ account.
