Student Media Board Applications
Media managers are the top executive officers of the student-media organizations funded by the Student Media Board, plus a graduate assistant who serves as director of UNCW Student Media Sales & Marketing. The SMB elects media managers in early spring prior to their year of service. Media managers serve as voting members of the board.
To be eligible, applicants must be currently enrolled students at UNCW in good academic standing (2.5 cumulative GPA minimum) and have experience working in media on or off campus. The term of service is from the close of the spring semester to the close of the following spring semester.
Applications will be available online in January, when the search for next year's media managers is opened.
The SMB is currently seeking two students to serve as students-at-large for the 2012–2013 school year.
Students-at-large provide the SMB with the perspectives of the broader student-body audience and serve as voting members. To be eligible, applicants must be currently enrolled students at UNCW in good academic standing (2.5 cumulative GPA minimum) and may not otherwise be involved with any student media organization.
