University Testing Services offers computer and paper-based tests.  In addition, the Testing Center has accommodations for those testing candidates that have special needs or conditions that require attention.

The following computer-based tests are offered: (See also Computer Based Testing)

• College Level Examination Progam  (CLEP).  Offered M-F at 9:00am, 11:00am and 1:00pm. Cost: $92 . Camp Lejeune now has a CLEP Testing Center. Contact the Marine Corps Base Education Center at 910-451-3092 for more information.
• Distance learning examinations (proctoring).  Offered M-F at 9:00am, 11:00am and 1:00pm.  Cost $15/hour.
• Graduate Record Examination (GRE).  Offered M-F at 8:30am and 12:30pm.   Cost: $150. 
• Health Educaton Systems, Inc. (HESI), School of Nursing Entrance Test. Offered M-F at 9:00am and 1:00pm. Cost: $75. Three group testing dates will be offered also this semester for $60.  They are November 23 at 9am, December 15 at 1pm, and December 17 at 9am.  You must prepay and sign up in Testing Services.
• Miller Analogies Test  (MAT). Offered M-F at 9:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm and 3:00pm. Cost: $75.
• Praxis I (entrance exam for School of Education). Offered M-F at 8:30am and 12:30pm. Cost: $130 for three tests on same day.
• Test of English as a foreign language (TOEFL). Schedule determined by ETS. Cost: $150.

The following paper-based tests are offered:

• ACT Assessment
• ACT Residual - Contact our office to register or get information - 962-4093 or 962-7444. This is only offered for students applying to UNCW..

• Distance learning examinations (proctoring)
• Law School Aptitude Test (LSAT)
• Pharmacy College Aptitude Test (PCAT)
• Praxis II (exams for teaching certification, licensure, etc.)
