Instructions for Completing the Maintenance Request Form:
Maintenance Request Forms are filled out via SEAPORT.
(You may also contact your RA, RC, or DR to fill out a paper form.)

USERNAME is your uncw username
PASSWORD is your uncw password
Once in MYSEAPORT:
1. Click on the Student tab.
2. Look for the Housing Maintenance Request Form box on the right and click on Request Now.
3. Read instructions and click "proceed." On the next screen, click the link to continue to Maintenance Request Form.
4. Fill in the description of the problem and then click "Submit Request." The request will be answered ASAP.

For maintenance emergencies after 4:30 pm and on weekends.
Please refer to the maintenance request flyer in your room for a list of maintenance concerns.
Emergency Maintenance issues (Level A) that arise between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday, should be reported to Housing and Residence Life at x4031, 4033, or 3241.
Emergency Maintenance issues that arise after 4:30 pm and on the weekends should be reported to Campus Police at x3184.

If elevators are not operating between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday, call the RA, RC, or DR for your building, who in turn will contact the Office of Housing and Residence Life. Breakdowns or emergencies after 4:30 pm and on weekends should be reported to Campus Police at x3184. The contractor is required by contract to respond within two hours to make repairs. Occasionally, the need for replacement parts may prolong the repair.
Housing has an outside contractor for cleaning of vomit, blood, and other bodily fluids. Between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday, call the Office of Housing and Residence Life at x3241 to report an incident. After 4:30 pm and on weekends, call Campus Police at x3184.
