Quick LinksFind Graham and Hewlett on the map
Graham and Hewlett Halls built in 1979 and 1978 respectively were previously stand alone facilities, designed as mirror images of one another. Construction joined the two buildings in 1999-2000, adding over 7,500 square feet of classroom, programming, office, and living space. Over the years the buildings have seen renovations that include furniture upgrades, internet and technology enhancements, and other facilities improvements.
The residential area is home to 384 residents, who are typically first year freshmen students. The students reside in a suite style arrangement where they share a common living room and bathroom. (See diagram) Each room is furnished with loftable/bunkable beds, dressers, open closets, window treatments, Ethernet, cable TV and a dedicated phone line with voicemail. Each suite living room is equipped with desks and desk chairs. Amenities of Graham and Hewlett Halls include: free laundry machines on each floor, security cameras in the front entrance, perimiters, and stairwells, vending and ice machines in the main lobby, programming space for community building, multiple flat screen televisions in the main lobby, and recycling bins.
" I like the people at Graham-Hewlett. You can just keep your doors open and people poke their head in. It definitely helps to bring you out of your shell. Plus, with Graham-Hewlett being connected you get to meet more people."
