Faculty External Awards
Between 2007 and 2011, faculty in the School of Nursing have written and submitted grants to external agencies totaling $6.5 million; $1.3 million have been awarded during this same time period for a 20% success rate. These grants have included awards from the NC GlaxoSmithKline Foundation, Burroughs Wellcome Foundation, U.S. Department of Education, Health Resources and Services Administration, and University of North Carolina General Administration.
