Requirements for a Minor in Psychology

A minimum of 18 credits

  • Psy 105
  
  • Six (6) hours from:
    • Psy 220,
    • Psy 221,
    • Psy 223,              
    • Psy 320,
    • Psy 322,
    • Psy 324, or
    • Psy 366 

 

 

 

Any 400-level course can be substituted for any course
  • Six (6) hours from:
    • Psy 346,
    • Psy 347,
    • Psy 350,
    • Psy 352, or
    • Psy 365

in either of these two categories

  • Three (3) hours from:
    • Psy 210,
    • Psy 245,
    • Psy 265, or
    • Any Psy 300 or Psy 400 level course
  
  • Grade requirements are:
    • Psy 105 – “C” or better
    • No more than one course with a grade of “D” can Count toward the requirement
    • There must be an average of “C” (2.00) or better on all courses counted toward the minor
