“Part theatre, part musical gig, part spoken word poetry and part documentary... whatever it is, it is brilliant.” —Toronto Star
Award-winning Canadian musician Evalyn Parry’s SPIN is a masterpiece of music, spoken word, and social commentary. Inspired by the story of Annie Londonderry, the first woman to bicycle around the word, Parry’s SPIN weaves the interplay of history and modernity with song in a show that features the bicycle as muse, musical instrument, and agent of social change.
