Tom Freshwater |
Tom Freshwater, Director of Physical Plant, administers Physical Plant Department daily operations. The department includes four major sections: Physical Plant Administration, Maintenance and Operations (Trades Shops), Landscape Services, and Housekeeping. These sections provide maintenance and repair, grounds maintenance, housekeeping in designated facilities owned by the university, and related administrative processes. |
David Olson |
David Olson, Assistant Director Physical Plant and Operations Supervisor, supervises the planning and execution of all work associated with the maintenance of campus facilities in the areas of electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, HVAC, preventive maintenance, locksmith, and utility systems, and serves as the Director in the Director's absence. |

As Housekeeping Administrator, Renee oversees operations of the Housekeeping section. The purpose of the Housekeeping section is to provide a clean campus building and healthy environment throughout. In addition to routine daily care and cleaning of all academic buildings, administrative offices, laboratories, and some non-residential auxiliary buildings, the Housekeeping section supports many special activities such as Parents' Day, the Azalea Festival, and Commencement. |
Chris Randall |
Chris Randall, Landscape Services Superintendent, directs the landscaping services of our ever-growing university, with its diversity of plant material. The Landscape Services section is responsible for the maintenance and care of paved areas and developed grounds on the main campus, plus houses in the Market Street and 17th Street areas and the Center for Marine Science on the intracoastal waterway. Landscape Services incorporates many environmentally-friendly practices. |
