Requirements for Teacher Certification in Physics: In addition to completing
the requirements for a degree in physics and the other requirements of
the Teacher Education Program, the following courses are also required
for certification: BIO 110; GLY 120.
Note: Students interested in the B.S. degree in Physics are advised to
take the PHY 201-202 sequence in the freshman year.

In addition, students must complete the UNCW phase of study with an overall GPA of at least 2.90 and have at least a 2.50 GPA in the last two calculus courses (MAT 162 and MAT 261) to meet NCSU's tranfer admission requirements.
