We currently recruit new members to the group in the Fall semester of every year. New members are interviewed in October and selected in November. Before becoming full members, each newly accepted student must complete a weekend training in January or February to learn the One in Four program and receive important information about social issues related to sexual assault, public speaking training , and UNCW and Wilmington community resources available to survivors of sexual assault and their friends.
If you wish to be considered for membership, please contact Adam Hall Halla@uncw.edu for more information.
The Men’s Leadership Summit
Join male staff, faculty, and fellow students for a day of discussion and debate on the often ignored issues and difficulties that men face as students in leadership roles. Though participants are from all ranks of campus life, this is a day where titles are dropped and we come together to learn from each other about what our masculinity means to each of us in our daily roles. For more information, click here.
CARE Peer Educator
The CARE peer educators are a group of UNCW students whose goal is to reduce the risk of sexual assault and sexual harassment on campus. This goal is realized through interactive presentations, awareness campaigns and programs that reach out to University students, high school students and the broader Wilmington community.
We welcome applications for membership as well as one-time volunteers.
