Razor Walker Awards Dinner April 27

Four honorees will receive a 2015 Award for Distinguished Service to the Children and Youth of North Carolina at the 23rd annual Razor Walker Awards ceremony April 27. The award is presented by the Watson College of Education.

Award recipients include Yevonne Sue Brannon, director of North Carolina's Center for Urban Affairs and Community Services; Roy Cooper, North Carolina Attorney General; Jana Jones Halls, executive director of the New Hanover County Blue Ribbon Commission on the Prevention of Youth Violence; and Frankie A. Roberts, executive director of Leading Into New Communities (LINC).

The prestigious and unique Razor Walker Service Awards are given each year in the categories of art/literature, business, educational administration, law, medicine, philanthropy, public service/policy and teaching/research.

The Razor Walker Awards celebration is open to honorees, guests, faculty, staff and friends of UNCW and the Watson College.
