Barbara Furr is a graduate of Duke University where she received the BA degree, Phi Beta Kappa, with honors in music. She holds the MM degree in Piano Performance from UNC-Greensboro. Ms. Furr has taught at Campbell University, Sacred Heart College, and Wingate University. Active in Music Teachers National Association, she has held local, state, and division offices, and is a past President of the North Carolina Music Teachers Association. In addition, she holds professional certification from MTNA and NCMTA. Ms. Furr is currently Chair of the UNC-Greensboro School of Music Advisory Board.
