The UNCW Faculty Brass Quintet is comprised of all the applied brass faculty as well as exceptional students to complete the ensemble. Regular performances of this group include the semi-annual Evening of Brass Concerts and regular recruitment tours to area high schools.

Comprised of college faculty and community members, the UNCW Early Music Consort performs literature from the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque time periods. Consisting of recorders, vocalists, hand percussion, and viola da gamba, this ensemble offers a wide variety of musical timbres in their recital and outreach performances.
