MarineQuest Airline Information
The MarineQuest staff is more than happy to pick-up and drop-off students at
Wilmington International Airport at no cost. An airline request form is required
(see above link for more details).
Residential FAQ's
• Linens are not provided - bring XL twin sheets, pillows, and blankets.
• Laundry facilities are available at no cost - bring detergent
• No electronic equipment (other than cell phones) is allowed.

MarineQuest Service Learning Programs
MarineQuest is dedicated to giving back to the community and marine environment. By participating in one of our programs specifically geared toward service learning, students gain real hands-on experience that will give them a solid understanding of marine science and lead to a better marine world. We offer a variety of programs including single gender, commuter, residential, and multi-week.

MQ Jr. Scientific Diver (ages 15-17) Connect with the ocean like never before while you develop diving skills that will have you well on your way towards becoming a scientific scuba diver. Enjoy diving places that SCUBA diving magazine has called a “world-class collection of wrecks” while you develop skills necessary to achieve this diving status. |

Sea G.E.M.S. (ages 13-15) Swim in the wake of some truly inspirational marine scientists with Sea G.E.M.S. (Girls Exploring Marine Science) as you explore the contributions women have made to our understanding of the ocean. |

Sea Lab (ages 12-14) From SCUBA to AUVs, ocean exploration has challenged men for decades. Discover their scientific achievements and how they changed the way we explore the marine environment.

Sea G.E.M.S. Jr. (ages 10-12) Join Sea G.E.M.S. and discover how women are helping to protect the marine environment.. Participate in a junior research cruise, explore scientific snorkeling, and help with a service project that benefits the ocean. By week's end you will be LOL with your sea sisters! |

Become an ocean leader with Oceans 17 where serious marine science enthusiasts conduct lab and field based experimental research while gaining hands on experience from UNCW researchers. |
Program Application & Registration
You must register by 5:00pm the Tuesday before your program is to begin.
To apply for any of our service learning programs, you must complete the MarineQuest Summer Program Application. Visit the information page for your chosen program to access its application.
Please Note: A completed application does not register you for your program. All applications will first be reviewed by the MarineQuest Staff and upon acceptance, you will receive an e-mail explaining the final step in the registration process.
