ITSD Staff Donates to ITSD Merit Scholarship in Honor of Saunders-White

The Information Technology Systems Division staff has collectively donated more than $1000 to the ITSD Merit Scholarship in honor of Vice-Chancellor Debra Saunders-White, who will be leaving UNCW in early May to serve as deputy assistant secretary for higher education programs for the U.S. Department of Education in Washington, DC. She was presented with the "check" during a farewell event on April 20, hosted by the Chancellor, where she was surrounded by her family, friends and colleagues.

The Merit Scholarship was established by Saunders-White's team in 2007 as an annually funded scholarship to assist students in the Honors Scholars Program. More information on this scholarship is available at www.uncw.edu/itsd/about/Scholarship.html.
