The University of North Carolina Wilmington announces a tenure-track position in Accounting at the Assistant Professor level beginning August 2014.  Successful applicants should be committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship and research.  The ideal candidate will have a primary interest in teaching taxation classes at both the undergraduate and graduate level.  A Ph.D. in Accounting is preferred (ABD’s considered if degree is completed by August 1, 2014), but will also consider JD with a LL.M. in Taxation.

UNCW boasts a beautiful 661 acre wooded campus with approximately 13,000 students, and is one of the fastest growing institutions in the University of North Carolina system.  The Cameron School of Business is AACSB accredited.  Sixty-eight faculty members serve 2,150 business majors, including graduate students in the MBA, M.S. in Accounting, International MBA, and M.S. in Computer Science and Information Systems programs.  The Wilmington metropolitan area comprises approximately 225,000 people and features a thriving port, business community, and tourism industry.  Bordered by both the Atlantic Ocean and the Cape Fear River, Wilmington offers the best in coastal living.
