The University of North Carolina, Wilmington, is seeking an Associate Director – Transfer Admissions. The Associate Director works directly with all enrollment service offices in working to recruit, admit, enroll and retain the strongest and most diverse possible student group at UNCW.
Located in southeastern North Carolina within minutes of the Atlantic Ocean, UNC Wilmington is one of 17 constituent campuses of the University of North Carolina. The university offers more than 50 undergraduate and more than 35 graduate degree programs, including doctoral programs in marine biology and educational leadership, for approximately 13,000 students. The successful candidate will have strong leadership, management, organizational, and communication skills; a good sense of judgment and integrity; and must appreciate and support a culture of customer service, including interacting directly with students and their families.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree with management experience working in a university’s transfer admissions department at a professional level, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Direct experience with recruitment required, master’s degree and Banner experience preferred.
