Message from your President
Hope everyone's semester is off to a running start! Just wanted to take a minute to say congratulations to Toni Whiteman for receiving a travel grant from the GLS student association to support her studies at an upcoming conference! There are still TWO grants left to be allotted to students for the fall semester so if interested in applying, fill out the grant request form available on this page and email me (email@example.com) as soon as possible!
The next GLSSA meeting will be October 17th at 6:30pm in Bear 106....We will be assessing any new grants and making a plan for the upcoming officer transitions. We also expect elections to take place at this time for the 2014 officers so if interested, please reach out to Caitlin. You do not have to have ANY prior experience to be an officer, this is YOUR program and YOU can make a difference by being a part of the student association! Being an officer is also a great thing to add to your CV or resume and the GLSSA roles are not time-intensive...If you'd like to discuss or get any more information, please reach out!
