Fraternity and Sorority Resources

Risk Management

As the chapter plans events for the semester, such as a retreat, philanthropy event or social, the Office of Student Leadership & Engagement encourages you to review your own chapter's risk management plan, to know and understand University and State laws/policies, and to review the resources provided by the Fraternal Information and Programming Group (FIPG).

Academics

Fraternities and Sororities at UNCW are committed to excellence in academic pursuits. Historically, fraternal organizations were founded on the principle of academic success and friendship. Today, UNCW fraternities and sororities continue to promote scholarship by providing many options for their members. Tutoring, academic advisors, study buddies, scholarships, and awards are just a few opportunities available through a fraternity or sorority.
