Interfraternity Council

The Interfraternity Countil, or IFC, is the local governing body for social fraternities that are members of the North American Interfraternity Conference. The purpose of the IFC is to promote scholarship, leadership, service, and recruitment among member organizations. IFC is the umbrella group for 14social fraternities on UNCW's campus. IFC has elected executive officers who hold weekly meetings with chapter representatives to create events, discuss current issues, and support recruitment efforts.

Adopt-A-Highway

The Interfratrenity Council supports keeping Wilmington clean and beautiful. Groups are assigned roads/weekends to go out and give back to the community and ensure their areas are clean and free of trash and debris.

Athletics & Intramural Sports

To develop healthy competition between the members of IFC, the council has worked with the Campus Recreation Department to develop an all fraternity league for intramurals. In each sport fraternities will compete against each other and earn points throughout the year. Check out past Champions!
