Teacher Licensure Students are eligible for federal aid at undergraduate levels. Teacher licensure students are not considered graduate students for financial aid purposes.

Graduate Certification Students may receive financial aid, at undergraduate levels, for one twelve-month period. Graduate certification students must be enrolled in courses required for admission to a graduate program at UNCW. Students must complete and submit a “Graduate Certification Form,” available from the financial aid website, to apply for federal aid. Incomplete forms cannot be processed.

Post-Baccalaureate and Post-Master’s Certificate Programs are not eligible for federal financial aid at UNCW. Non-federal loan information is available on the financial aid website.

Non-degree students, generally, are not eligible for federal aid. Students taking classes for enrichment purposes only are not eligible for aid.
