Lars Knudsen was singled out by Filmmaker Magazine as being one of 25 fresh faces of independent film. He is co-founder of Parts and Labor, a production company whose main focus is to support young and aspiring filmmakers by fulfilling their unique visions. Films they have produced range from Kelly Reichardt’s Old Joy, which premiered at Sundance 2006, to Cam Archer’s directorial debut Wild Tigers I have Known, which also premiered at Sundance. Parts and Labor is now in production with four other features with budgets ranging from $175,000 to 2 million.
Opportunities include working in all aspects of filmmaking from pre-production, post production, all the while working on feature length films shot in the heart of New York City.
