Intercollegiate athletics

Faculty are admitted at no charge, with a faculty ID, to all intercollegiate games on campus, except for men's basketball and baseball. Season tickets to men's basketball and baseball games are available to faculty at a reduced rate. Information about the purchase of season tickets, team schedules and athletic news are published on the Athletics Department home page or at www.uncwsports.com.   

Recreational facilities

All recreational facilities such as the Student Recreation Center, Gazebo recreation area, Intramural field complex and the Natatorium (swimming pool) are financed by student fees and are intended for student use. Permanent, full-time faculty and staff have access to the facilities during posted hours with a valid UNCW ID.  Access for part-time and temporary faculty/staff is different; please contact Campus Recreation for membership information.  Spouses of faculty and staff may purchase a membership for Student Recreation Center access, and family hours are available for dependents of faculty and staff to use facilities.
