Melissa Ennis has published a paper with Dr. Buller on Journal of Alcohol and Drug Education. Melissa is working on her master's degree in Psychology in addition to her MIT degree.

Duane Thomas and
Kristine Rose are working with ITSD developing training materials for faculty for Webct vista.
Amanda Hodges is developing an online course for a faculty member in the Watson School of Education. Shellie Moore is working with Writing Center, Randall Library to redesign the Center's website and develop instructional materials.
Trish Torkildsen is working with the Cape Fear Community College to develop online training materials for students who take online courses. Marolyn Schauss is working with New Hanover County, Instructional Services. She is developing print-based instructional materials for teachers.
Spring 2006
Suesan Sullivan completed her internship with Working Films. She developed instructional materials incorporating documentaries on "Latinos in North Carolina" to be distributed in public schools in the region. Suesan is in the process of formatively evaluating the materials in Ms. Micallef Literature class in Hoggard High school.
Renee Corcoran, Kristen Lee and Sherry Hughes successfully defended and passed their Comprehensive Exam and Electronic portfolios.
Tammy Clark and Amanda Hodge worked with two faculty members in the Watson school of Education to design and develop their courses for online delivery using WebCt.
Nik Smith-Hunnicutt, Tina Nelson, Marolyn Schauss and Fran Strauss presented with Dr. Moallem at the Interact Technology Showcase in March 2006.
We welcomed Aixia Zhang, Tom Dorgan and Jessica Shartle to our MIT community in Spring of 2006. Both Aixia and Tom were hired as instructional support assistants in the Watson School of Education. Aixia is working in the Department of Specialty Studies and Tom is working with PDS (Professional Development System).
Spring 2005
Melissa Ennis, Patrick Gunn, Beth Allred & Kristen Lee are working with ITSD as Senior Web Developers throughout the Spring 2005 semester
- Beth Allred completed her internship in the Science and Mathematics Education Center (SMEC). She developed online instructional materials for mathematics educators.

- Erika Robertson completed her internship with ITSD Client Services where she was also served as a graduate assist. She conducted a needs assessment.

Summer and Fall 2004
Adonica Long and Patrick Gunn were interviewed and offered to work with Regions Financial Corporation for Instructional Design Internship. Addy and Pratrick accepted the offer and worked for Regions Financial Corporation throughout the summer of 2004.
- Paul Ritchie completed his internship working with Dr. Murdock in a CBT project.
- Beth Allred, Patricia Gonzalez-McQuiston, Sherry Hughes, and Stephanie Eggers worked with Nursing faculty during the summer to help them with their design and development of online course.
Spring 2004
Cathi Phillips presented three papers with Dr's. Moallem and Chen in 2004 SITE and 2004 TLT conferences
- Four MIT students (Dawn Brinson, Beth Bruton, Torri Galloway, and Harry Marriner) successfully completed and defended their Electronic Portfolio. They were the first group of MIT students who volunteered to participate in the development of E-portfolios.

- Adonica Long was contracted to work with a mini grant. She was hired to work with a high school teacher to design and develop a web site and instructional materials for her.

- Cathi Phillips, the senior MIT student developed the web site for UNCW Troubled Waters: The Illusion of Abundance Documentary.

- Four MIT students (Torri Galoway, Patrick Gunn, Harry Marriner, and Nikki Rademann) developed curriculum materials for the UNCW Troubled Waters: The Illusion of Abundance Documentary. All students were acknowledged and appraised by the documentary directors and UNCW Chancellor Emeritus, Dr. Leutze for their excellent work.

- Beth Bruton, and Stephanie Eggers completed their Internships with excellent reviews and acknowledgments from their internship supervisors. Beth worked with Campus Web Development Team and Stephanie worked with Client Services--WebCT Faculty Training Team.

- Beth Allred, a senior part time MIT student and mathematics high school teacher decided to become a full time student to finish with her program of study. She is hired as a graduate assistant to work with Professional Development Systems on issues related to technology and technology integration.
