Welcome to the Master of School Administration Program
The School Administration Program is composed of four thematic units: School Leader as Learner and Learned; School Leader as Conceptualizer, Synthesizer and Inventor; School Leader as Decision Maker, Problem Solver and Assessor; and School Leader as Planner, Operations Guide, Evaluator, and Communicator. The graduate program incorporates the conceptual framework which is common to all teacher education programs at UNCW: The Watson School of Education develops highly competent professional to serve in educational leadership roles.
The program is authorized by the Principals Fellows Commission, which provides scholarship loans in the amount of $30,000 annually for two years of full-time study. Full-time students are encouraged to apply for graduate assistant positions. Graduate assistants can earn an additional $8,000 in order to supplement income.
