CoachingWhat is Coaching?

Coaching is a partnership with an employee in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their professional potential, which is particularly important in today's uncertain and complex environment.

A coach's responsibility is to:

  • Discover, clarify, and align with what the employee wants to achieve
  • Encourage employee self-discovery
  • Elicit employee-generated solutions and strategies
  • Hold the employee responsible and accountable

ConsultingWhat is Consulting?

A consultant's purpose is to diagnose problems and prescribe and, sometimes, help implement solutions. Our office provides consulting in the areas of: leading and performing; team strengthening; interpersonal skill development; innovation and process improvement; pitching ideas and sustaining motivation; and career planning.

Mentoring

What is Mentoring?

A mentor is an expert who provides wisdom and guidance based on his or her own experience. Mentoring may include advising, counseling and coaching. The Learning Advancement Program is a fomal learning and mentoring program that assist employees to reach their desired goals.

TrainingWhat is Training?

A leader can request a customized instructor-led curriculum to be designed specifcially to fit their needs in the form of keynotes, staff meetings, engaging half day and/or full day programs. Leaders can also choose from engaging retreats delivered for other departments on campus. There are also more than 80+ programs to choose from on the D2LA online catalog.
