The Ripple Effect
The Ripple Effect will resume in August 2016.

The Ripple Effect is UNCW’s peer support group for students who have been affected by addiction in their families and close relationships. Our goal is to learn wellness strategies, develop beneficial relationships, and support each other while fostering wellness and recovery. Bring your lunch if you like and come share your experiences and learn from others!

SMART Recovery
SMART Recovery will resume in August 2016.
Please join us! No need to pre-register, walk-ins welcome. SMART Recovery is a support group for individuals who have chosen to abstain, or are considering abstinence, from any type of addictive behaviors (substances or activities). A SMART Recovery group lasts between 60-90 minutes, and provides time for individual support should a student wish to speak during the group. Group time is also dedicated to independently practicing specific skills using behavioral tools to help to cope with urges and cravings. This resource on campus is FREE and open to any interested UNCW students.

Seahawk Strength & Hope
Seahawk Strength & Hope will resume in the Fall of 2016

Come celebrate recovery with other CRCHawks and show why you support recovery from drug and alcohol dependence. There will be speakers, information, students in recovery to answer questions, coffee and cookies! Sponsored by CROSSROADS and UNCW’s Collegiate Recovery Community.

UNCW students have founded an open Alcoholics Anonymous Meeting
