Community Achievement Award Nominee
School of Health and Applied Human Science’s Associate Professor Dan Johnson will receive recognition as a nominee for a Community Achievement Award for his work with Access of Wilmington. Health Care Heroes is an annual celebration to bring together the Wilmington-area medical community and its supporters. The goal is to give members of the health community a chance to connect, celebrate individuals who go well beyond expectations to provide excellent care and award scholarships to up-and-coming members of the health care community. Dr. Johnson will be recognized on November 16th during a special reception at the Cape Fear Community College’s Union Station Building.
