The Emerging Faces of Hispanics in Southeastern North Carolina The Inaugural Conference on Latino Affairs and Resources for Southeastern North Carolina Friday, November 20, 2009, 9:00 am to 3:30 pm UNC Wilmington Campus Hosted by the University of North Carolina Wilmington Centro Hispano-Latino Alliance of Southeastern North Carolina Building Stronger Networks to Serve the Latino Community The purpose of the conference reflects the mission of the Latino Alliance, which is to build a stronger network among people and organizations who serve the Latino community in the region and also empower local citizens and organizations that serve Hispanic/Latino Community by creating positive change in areas of education, business, health care, safety and building community.
