Hobey Ford: Artist in Residence
Snipes Academy of Art & Design
November 14 - 18, 2011
During a week-long residency in New Hanover County, puppeteer Hobey Ford presented a series of workshops for students, teachers and parents at Snipes Academy of Art and Design. The residency culminated with two school performances of his acclaimed work “Animalia” for the county’s second and third grade students. Hobey Ford is the recipient of puppetry’s highest honor, the UNIMA Citation of Excellence, and is a three-time recipient of the Jim Henson Foundation Grant.
