UNCW Recognized as a Leading Innovator by IdeaScale

IdeaScale, a leading crowdsourcing and open innovation software provider, announced the final winners of its Innovation Awards Competition and recognized UNCW as the winner in the category of Efficiency Expert.
This category recognizes members of the IdeaScale community that can best demonstrate innovative and new organizational efficiencies as a result of IdeaScale community suggestion. UNCW was recognized for maximizing their potential as a year-round educational provider, as well as enacting numerous other changes, such as incentivizing faculty and students to participate in a non-traditional classroom model and course opportunities that reach non-traditional students.
