Tony-Nominated Choreographer’s World Premiere Tour Comes to UNCW

The Office of Cultural Arts at University of North Carolina Wilmington is hosting Tony-nominated choreographer Karole Armitage for a week-long residency, featuring workshops, panel discussions, classroom visits, free performances for nearly 2,000 public school students, and a master’s dance class with Wilmington’s Dance Co-Op on Oct. 21. The week culminates with a public performance of her newest work Fables on Global Warming on Oct. 26 in Kenan Auditorium. The performance will be followed by a dessert reception with the artists.
