UNCW Association for Campus Entertainment Presents Timeflies in Concert
Wednesday, April 17, 2013
The UNCW Association for Campus Entertainment (ACE) is proud to present one of the biggest events of the year, the annual Spring Concert. Selected directly from UNCW student polls, see the band Timeflies on the stage of Kenan Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. on April 25.
The dynamic duo came on the music scene in 2010 with a sharp and eclectic style. Cal and Rez blend original tracks, covers, remixes, and sometimes even freestyle to connect with audiences. While the wide range of music is easy to recognize, the group displays their classic training by maintaining a crisp presentation of a highly stylized genre. The lyrics from the song “One Night” could equally describe their performances as the two are “perfectly out of control.” Made for and from their generation, Timeflies started off strong by topping off iTunes charts with a number one EP just this past November. Their songs like “Swoon,” “Worth It,” “Tonight I Can’t Say No,” and “Call Me Maybe,” are sure to please.
Advance sale tickets are available to UNCW students for $15 and to the general public for $22. The day of the show, any remaining tickets will be sold to UNCW students for $18 and to the general public for $25. Take advantage of this incredible deal now by visiting Kenan Auditorium’s box office or online at etix.com.
