Nuclear Physics Expert to Lecture on Campus April 18-19

On April 18, Allena Opper, Department Chair and Professor of Physics from The George Washington University, will deliver the Annual Sigma Pi Sigma Lecture, “Exploring the Subatomic World - How and Why,” at 7 p.m. in DeLoach Hall, room 212.
Opper will also discuss “First Results on the Weak Charge of the Proton – and a Search for Physics Beyond the Standard Model,” at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 19 in DeLoach Hall room 212; refreshments will be served at 1:45 pm.
