Lecture and Panel Discussion: Sexually Transmitted Infections and HIV/AIDS

Paula Reid, assistant professor of nursing, invites members of the campus and community to a special session of her Women’s Health Issues course. Join speaker Victoria Oxendine and panelists Suzette Curry and Robin Hahaj for a lecture and discussion on Sexually Transmitted Infections and HIV/AIDS from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 19 in McNeill Hall room #1051.
Oxendine is a graduate of the UNCW School of Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner Program (MSN), and a current nurse practitioner in the HIV Clinic at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Curry serves as the associate director and Hahaj is the services coordinator for Duke University Medical Center Partners in Caring. Partners In Caring was established by Duke Pastoral Services and Duke University AIDS Research and Treatment Center to bring spiritual comfort to people living with HIV/AIDS and their families.
