B.A. in Studio Art

The requirements for a Major in Studio Art for a B.A. degree are as follows: 55 hours.   ART 101 and 102; ART 111 or 112; ART 211, 476; ARH 201, 202, and 308; and 6 additional credits in art history; and 27 hours chosen from at least three different studio areas. ART 260 and ART 360 both satisfy the computer competency requirement.

A grade of “"C"” (2.00) or better is required for each course counted toward the major, and no more than one “C-“ grade may count.

To complete a double major in studio art and art history, the student must complete ARH 476 and 27 additional hours in art history at the 300-400 level.
