About this Chapter
The Communication Studies Alumni Chapter strives to connect alumni and friends with UNCW by providing networking, reunion and student mentoring opportunities. Everyone who has graduated from the Communication Studies Department is considered a member of the Alumni Chapter.
The COM Studies Department also looks to alumni who are working professionally in the Communication field to serve as mentors to current students through the Project Protege program.

WECT Sounds of Summer Concert
with the Schoolboys

Stop by the UNCW alumni tent to say hello to friends and fellow grads and grab some Seahawk goodies!
The Schoolboys, UNCW's unofficial faculty rock band, will play soulful renditions of some of the best good-time music in rock n' roll. The band features Bill Bolduc, Bill DiNome, James Hunt, Rick Olsen and Frank Trimble. The concert is free and open to the public and takes place at Wrightsville Beach Park. Bring a blanket or chairs and picnic basket.

Communication Studies alumni gathered on February 16, in Leutze Hall, for a reception as part of UNCW’s Homecoming 2013 celebration. Attendees enjoyed an afternoon catching up with former classmates, friends and faculty. Everyone was glad to be back on campus in the company of one another again. Check out photos!
A great time was had by all who attended the Communication Studies Department’s (COM Studies) Alumni Reception on Saturday, February 4.
