Policies/Reports: Budget Process Review Policy
Beginning in 2001, the Office of Academic Affairs will initiate an annual review of the procedure used to plan the annual and biennial budgets. Annually, at the beginning of the Fall Semester (after the annual academic budget has been established for the year), the Director of Resource Management in the Office of Academic Affairs will solicit written comments from deans, business managers in the colleges and schools, directors in Academic Affairs, and the Director of Budgets for the University concerning their perceptions of the efficiency and effectiveness of the academic budgeting process. Based on these comments, the Director of Resource Management will prepare a summary of proposed changes and will provide this document, annotated with his/her recommendations, to the Provost, deans, and directors in Academic Affairs for their action.
