All scheduling and registration for Prometric exams are done through the site listed below. All other exams offered can be scheduled through RegisterBlast. If you need to take an exam not listed on RegisterBlast, please contact us at testingservices@uncw.edu, or call 910.962.7582.
Note: Scheduling on RegisterBlast only guarantees you a seat in the testing room. Further steps may be necessary to ensure your exam can be administered. Read more about the requirements below.
Proctoring fees are $15 per hour with a $3.50 service fee. As a general policy all fees are non-refundable.
You can reschedule within a minimum of 24 hours prior to your appointment. Candidates may only reschedule an exam once. To reschedule your exam, follow the link below and entering the email associated with your RegisterBlast account. You will then be emailed a link that will allow you to reschedule your exam.
You can also reschedule your appointment by calling University Testing Services at 910.512.6785 a minimum of one business day in advance. Rescheduling is not permitted on the day of the exam.
Free parking for University Testing Services candidates is available at DePaolo Hall located off Lanier Lane.
A parking pass will be provided to you by a staff member. Disability parking is also available.
The six spots available directly in front of DePaolo Hall are designated by a testing services sign. Please check these spots for availability before parking anywhere else.
If all testing services spots are full, and if you are not a UNCW student, faculty or staff member, you can use the Visitor Lot located off Riegel Road and Price Drive (near the intramural fields).

We proctor exams for college classes. We offer proctoring for both electronic and paper tests. We also proctor exams for students outside of the UNC system.
Students can register for an exam through RegisterBlast by selecting "Proctor" in the exam group, or through SmarterProctoring. Please contact your instructor or testing institution before registering to have an exam proctored to ensure that we are able to receive exam materials. Students should also confirm any ID requirements, testing aides (such as calculators), or accommodations with their instructor or testing institution.
Proctoring fees are $15 an hour with a $3.50 service fee. Time is scheduled in 30 minute increments.
Accuplacer is a series of tests that evaluate students' skills in reading, writing, and math to help college administrators place them in courses that match their skills.
A valid, government-issued, photo ID with a signature is required.
Non-UNCW students who wish to take an Accuplacer exam should contact the institution they are testing for to request an Accuplacer voucher number. After receiving a voucher number from their institution, the student will schedule through RegisterBlast
The proctoring fee for Accuplacer exams is $38.50; this provides you with 4 hours to take the exam.
Adobe Certified Professional is an industry-recognized credential that effectively validates one's skills in Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
A valid, government-issued, photo ID with a signature is required.
Before scheduling an Adobe exam, you should make a Certiport account. You will also need to create an Adobe Creative Cloud account with a personal email; one created with an institutional email (such as @uncw.edu) will not launch exams. You do not need to purchase the applications with this account to take the exam. You will then schedule for a time through Registerblast
Adobe exams are an hour in length, are $15 an hour with a $3.50 service fee. You can register for up to a 3 hour block of exams to avoid paying multiple service fees.
TEAS measures basic essential skills in the academic content area of reading, mathematics, science, English and language usage. The test is intended for use primarily with adult nursing program applicants. The objectives assessed on the TEAS exam are those which nurse educators deemed most appropriate and relevant to measure entry level skills and abilities of nursing program applicants.
A valid, government-issued, photo ID with a signature is required.
Prior to exam date candidate should create an ATI account. This account will be used for the exam. You will then schedule the exam through RegisterBlast. UNCW students can find further information on the Nursing program's TEAS Admissions Test: Prelicensure page.
Registration for the TEAS exam is $113.50. This covers both the cost of the exam and the proctoring fee. Exam length is approximately 3.5 hours.
Schedule through Registerblast
The CLEP test allows students to earn college credit for what they already know. With numerous CLEP tests offered, you can quickly satisfy general education requirements and prerequisites
A valid, government-issued, photo ID with a signature is required.
Prior to scheduling a CLEP exam you must register through College Board to obtain a CLEP ticket number. The CLEP ticket number will be required to schedule through RegisterBlast.
Proctoring fees are $15 an hour with a $3.50 service fee. CLEP tests are generally 90 minutes long.
Prometric exams provide technology-enabled testing and assessment solutions to many licensing and certification organizations, academic institutions, and government agencies. Prometric offers many exams from 100's of testing companies, such as PRAXIS, GRE, CPA and more.
All scheduling and registration for Prometric exams is done through their website. Candidates needing to test at UNCW for a Prometric exam must schedule on the Prometric website and select the UNCW location during registration. Prometric exams require a Government-issued photo ID with a signature; please consult your testing client for any additional ID requirements.

UNCW requires a math placement test and a foreign language placement test. The math placement test is usually available during orientation, and the results identify which math course(s) would be appropriate for you to take at UNCW.
