UNCW to Host Ebola Community Forum on Oct. 30
The University of North Carolina Wilmington is collaborating with several education and healthcare experts to present "Ebola: Sharing the Facts, Not the Hysteria" as a community forum on campus Oct. 30. The forum, which is free and open to the public, will be held from 4-5 p.m. in Room 1005 of McNeill Hall.

UNCW Wins $300,000 Grant from White House
The University of North Carolina Wilmington is one of just 18 universities nationwide being awarded a $300,000 grant from the Department of Justice’s Office on Violence Against Women as part of the White House’s recently launched “It’s On Us” campaign. Coordinated through UNCW’s CARE, funds will be used to further develop programs addressing sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence and stalking prevention on the UNCW campus.
